The QUIT License investment cost includes everything investors need to get up and running and be a successful throughout the lifetime of their license. QUIT offers two options to facilitate easy entry into the QUIT family. Estimates range from R159 000 (excl.vat) to R464 000 (excl.vat).

OPTION 1:

Clinic License – A Clinic License enables the licensee to open a fully operational independent QUIT clinic. Total investment will vary depending on square footage requirements, costs in a particular geographic location and other variables. Except as otherwise described in the notes below, the proceeding chart provides an estimate of your initial investment for a single QUIT clinic and the costs necessary to begin operation of your QUIT clinic. All costs listed are estimates only. Actual costs will vary for each licensee and each location depending on a number of factors. All fees and payments are non-refundable, unless otherwise stated or permitted by the payee.

Notes:

1. If you do not own adequate or appropriate space, you must lease the space for your QUIT clinic. The figures in the chart are based on QUIT's estimate of the cost of your lease or sublease for the leasehold premises. The typical space for a QUIT license contains a minimum of 50 square meters. Rents will vary depending upon factors including size, conditions, and location of the leased premises, and the local real estate market conditions. The figures in the chart reflect an estimate for a one month security deposit. QUIT estimates that rentals will range between R5 000 and R10 000 monthly for 50 square meters of commercial space. In addition, some landlords may require additional security deposits or rental payments upon execution of a lease. You should carefully investigate and evaluate all of the potential costs associated with a particular license location. The estimates provided in the chart do not contemplate construction costs.

2. Whether you own or lease space, you must conform the space to the standards specified by QUIT. QUIT will review and must approve your plans before you may operate as a licensee. QUIT can provide contractors but under certain circumstances a commercial centre may require you utilise centre approved shop fitters. Before commencing any renovation or construction of the QUIT clinic you must prepare preliminary and final drawings and specifications of the plans in accordance with QUIT's standard floor plans and specifications which will be provided to you at no cost. These preliminary and final drawings and specifications must be submitted to QUIT for its prior written approval. The cost of conforming the space will vary with the size of the space and the nature of the space before improvement. Costs in some areas of the country may exceed these estimates. Upon your written request within 30 days of the execution of the License Agreement, QUIT may, at its option, provide assistance to you for the purpose of finding an approved location for the QUIT clinic.

3. At the time the business opens you must stock your QUIT clinic with an initial inventory of supplementation necessary to facilitate the implementation of initial program sales.

4. Prefmed Biostimulation Addiction Therapy (BAT) Unit package includes:

5. FREE with QUIT Clinic License: Prefmed BAT mobile unit (second unit for off site treatments) and additional PICO carbon monoxide monitor.

OPTION 2:

Participation License – The Participation License enables investors seeking a passive income to sponsor the provision of the Prefmed BAT Unit (refer note.4 above) to a participating health/aesthetic outlet and enter into a revenue sharing agreement. The entire process is facilitated by QUIT and operators are subject to the participation license terms and conditions. Self financed health/aesthetic outlets may also acquire a participation license directly without sponsorship.
